Two Arrested in Delhi Crime Branch Operation; MDMA Seized, Probe Underway

New Delhi:

The Delhi Police Crime Branch has arrested two individuals in connection with a narcotics case following a raid conducted in parts of South Delhi, officials said.

According to police, the operation was carried out based on specific intelligence inputs regarding the alleged circulation of synthetic drugs in the area. During the raid, officers recovered a quantity of MDMA (commonly known as ecstasy).

Police officials stated that the arrested individuals are suspected to be involved in the distribution of the substance. Preliminary investigation indicates that further links may be examined as part of the ongoing probe.

Authorities have initiated further investigation to:

  • Identify possible associates
  • Trace the source of the seized substance
  • Examine any wider connections related to the case

Officials have not disclosed additional details regarding the identities of the accused. They added that more information will be shared as the investigation progresses.

Law enforcement agencies continue to monitor and act against illegal narcotics activities in the region.
