Secunderabad, May 12, 2026:

Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated at the Tadbund Veeranjaneya Swamy Temple in Secunderabad on Tuesday, with a large number of devotees visiting the temple throughout the day.

Temple authorities opened the premises early in the morning to facilitate darshan arrangements for visitors arriving from different parts of the twin cities.

As part of the celebrations, a 24-hour Akhanda Bhajan program was organized at the temple premises. Special पूजा and Sindoor Alankaram rituals were also conducted. Devotees queued for darshan during the day, while the temple committee arranged distribution of prasadam, including Pulihora, for visitors.

Considering the increased footfall during the occasion, traffic diversions were implemented around the Tadbund area to assist pedestrian movement and maintain public safety.

In the evening, Maha Aarti was performed and the temple premises were illuminated with oil lamps as part of the celebrations.

Hanuman Jayanti is observed annually by devotees across the country to mark the birth anniversary of Lord Hanuman.
