HEARTBREAKING – PET ABUSE CASE SHOCKS NOIDA RESIDENTS

A disturbing case of alleged animal cruelty has emerged from ATS Pious Hideaways, Sector 150, Noida, leaving residents concerned and demanding action.

According to reports and video evidence circulating among locals, an 8-month-old puppy was allegedly subjected to repeated abuse by its owner. The young dog was reportedly tied up on a balcony and beaten over multiple nights. What makes this case even more serious is that it was not an isolated incident, but a repeated pattern of cruelty inflicted on a helpless animal.

The incident came to light after vigilant neighbours raised concerns and documented the situation. Disturbed by the repeated cries of the puppy, they gathered evidence and brought the matter forward.

In a timely act of compassion, a local resident, Raghav Vij, stepped forward and rescued the puppy from the situation. The animal is now reported to be safe and undergoing medical care. While the rescue has brought relief, the case remains under attention.

The larger question remains—what action will be taken against the alleged abuser?

Under Indian law, cruelty towards animals is a punishable offence. Acts such as beating, neglect, or intentionally harming a pet fall under legal provisions including the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960. Citizens and animal welfare advocates are now calling for legal action, including the filing of an FIR and strict accountability for those responsible.

This incident highlights that animal abuse is a serious issue and requires immediate attention and action.

Rescue is done—but justice must follow.
