Hyderabad, June 21: The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) will resume its public grievance redressal programme, Prajavani, from June 22 at Buddha Bhavan to address civic issues ahead of the monsoon season.
The programme had been temporarily suspended on May 6 to facilitate the disposal of pending complaints. According to an official press release issued on Saturday, Prajavani is being restarted with a special focus on monsoon-related concerns affecting residents across the city.
HYDRAA has urged citizens to submit detailed complaints regarding waterlogging-prone areas, recurring flooding issues, and the underlying causes of such problems. Officials stated that comprehensive information from complainants will help authorities take timely and effective corrective measures.
The agency said that complaints related to encroachments on stormwater drains, lakes, parks, government lands, and other public spaces will also be given priority. Citizens have been requested to clearly explain the nature of the problem, the causes of flooding, and the duration for which the issue has persisted.
HYDRAA officials emphasized that resolving monsoon-related civic issues will remain a key priority in the coming weeks. They reiterated the agency’s commitment to ensuring public safety and improving urban infrastructure management during the rainy season.
Residents are encouraged to make use of the Prajavani platform to report grievances and assist authorities in identifying and addressing issues before they escalate during periods of heavy rainfall.
