Indore Death Case Reopens as Police Suspect Possible Murder; Wife and Another Person Under Investigation

A case initially registered as a road accident in Indore has been reclassified as a suspected murder following post-mortem findings, police officials said.

According to preliminary information, the victim was earlier believed to have died in a road accident. However, forensic examination reportedly revealed inconsistencies in the injury patterns, prompting investigators to reassess the circumstances surrounding the death.

Police sources stated that based on initial investigation, the victim’s wife and another individual are being questioned in connection with the case. Their involvement is currently under investigation, and no final conclusion has been reached.

Authorities are examining:

  • Post-mortem and forensic reports
  • Call records and digital communication
  • Timeline of events leading to the incident

Officials said that further evidence will determine whether the case was an accident or involved criminal intent.
