Kurnool Range DIG Dr. Koya Praveen has reportedly issued orders dismissing Traffic Sub-Inspector Hariprasad from service following a departmental inquiry into allegations of misconduct.
According to officials, Hariprasad, a 2012-batch officer from Andhra Pradesh, had previously served in Nandyal and other districts. He had earlier faced suspension in connection with allegations related to misconduct during his tenure at Allagadda Rural Police Station. At that time, disciplinary action was reportedly initiated following complaints and directions from senior police authorities.
Officials stated that a recent departmental inquiry examined allegations involving inappropriate conduct and harassment complaints made by a woman from Nandyal district. The inquiry reportedly found violations of departmental standards and professional conduct rules.
Based on the inquiry findings, Kurnool Range DIG Dr. Koya Praveen ordered Hariprasad’s dismissal from service.
Police officials stated that strict disciplinary action would continue against personnel found violating departmental ethics or misusing their position.
No public statement from Hariprasad was immediately available regarding the allegations or the dismissal order.
