Newly Married Couple Found Dead in Assam’s Tea Garden Area; Investigation Underway

Biswanath Chariali, Assam: A tragic incident has shocked residents of the Sakomato Tea Garden area in Assam’s Biswanath district, where a newly married couple was found dead under circumstances that are currently being investigated by police.

The deceased have been identified as Siba Urang and his wife, Puspanjali Munda, both residents of Podumoni village. According to local sources, the couple had been married approximately two weeks ago.

The incident has left family members, relatives, and local residents in deep shock and grief. Both were known within the community, and news of their deaths has cast a pall of mourning over the village.

Police officials have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths. Authorities are gathering information from family members, neighbours, and local residents as part of the inquiry.

Officials stated that the exact cause of death will be determined following the completion of the investigation and other necessary legal procedures.

Residents of Podumoni village are awaiting further information as authorities continue their probe into the incident.
