An online meeting was held at Sahyadri Guest House with minister of higher and technical Education parliamentary affairs Government of Maharashtra Hon chandrakant dada patil and the Vice-Chancellors of all public universities in the state, during which a review was conducted on various issues including examination fees, preventing paper leaks, academic schedules, and student welfare.

Examination fees should not be charged to students from drought-affected talukas. If fees have been collected previously, they must be refunded. Strict action will be taken against the concerned colleges if it is found that fees have been collected from students, clear instructions were given in this regard.

Additionally, instructions were issued to implement a uniform academic schedule for all public universities starting from the academic year 2026-27 and to make degree certificates available in DigiLocker from the next academic year onward.
