Noida Consumer Alleges Prolonged Harassment by LG Despite Paid AMC; PCB Repair Delayed for Days

Noida Consumer Raises Service Concerns Over LG AC Repair Delay Under Gold AMC

Noida: A Noida consumer has raised concerns over the service experience provided by LG Electronics after his air conditioner reportedly remained non-functional for several days despite being covered under a paid three-year Gold AMC.

According to documents and information shared by the consumer, Pulkit Kumar paid ₹16,024 for a three-year Gold Plan Normal AMC for his LG air conditioner. The AMC is stated to be valid from 21 May 2024 to 20 May 2027.

Service Request Registered With LG

The consumer registered a service request with LG on 20 August 2026 under Service Request No. RNA260820032926. On 21 August, an LG service engineer, identified as Sachin Kumar, visited the residence and reportedly diagnosed a faulty PCB, stating that a replacement part would be arranged.

However, according to the consumer, the replacement PCB had not arrived by 25 August and the AC remained non-functional. The consumer said he made repeated follow-ups with LG and subsequently escalated the matter through senior service personnel. Two escalation numbers provided by LG were VCA260821065193 and VCA260823067121.

Consumer Raises Complaint Over Engineer's Conduct

The consumer has also raised a separate complaint regarding the alleged conduct of the service engineer during his visit. According to the consumer, the engineer spoke to his wife, who was alone at home at the time, in a rude and inappropriate manner and allegedly used abusive language.

The consumer said he confronted the engineer after returning home. These allegations are based on the consumer's account and have not been independently established by the publication.

Concerns Over Escalation Response

The consumer has further alleged that his interaction with Mohammad Abid, whom he identifies as an Area Senior Manager in Noida, was also unsatisfactory. According to the consumer, he was told that if the PCB was unavailable, there was limited scope for immediate action and that he would have to wait several more days.

The consumer says the delay has caused significant hardship because his household includes a four-month-old infant and a four-year-old child, while the AC remains unavailable during hot and humid weather.

Complaint Escalated to National Consumer Helpline

The matter has now been escalated through multiple channels. The consumer said he submitted complaints to LG Customer Service as well as the LG India CEO and MD escalation channels.

He has also registered a grievance with the National Consumer Helpline. According to the documents shared with the publication, the NCH grievance was successfully lodged under Docket No. 10021259.

Consumer Seeks Immediate Resolution

The consumer is seeking immediate repair of the AC, a confirmed timeline for replacement of the PCB and an investigation into the alleged conduct of the LG personnel involved.

This report is based on the consumer's complaint, service communications and documents made available to the publication. The allegations regarding the conduct of individual LG personnel are the consumer's account and have not been independently established by this publication.

LG Electronics may provide its response or clarification regarding the matter. Any substantive response received from the company can be incorporated into or appended to this report.
