PM Modi to Interact with Seva Yatris Travelling from Vadnagar to Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to interact via video conference with participants of the Seva Yatra travelling from Vadnagar to Varanasi under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan on Thursday.

The interaction will provide the Seva Yatris an opportunity to share their experiences from the ongoing journey. The yatra began on September 17 as part of the wider Seva Sankalp Abhiyan being organised to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25 years in public life.

The participants are travelling through towns, districts, talukas and villages, with activities focused on community interaction and service-oriented programmes at different locations along the route. Ten groups are undertaking the Vadnagar-to-Varanasi journey, while another set of groups is travelling in the opposite direction.

During the journey, the Seva Yatris have participated in cleanliness drives and interacted with local residents and beneficiaries. Activities have also been organised at schools, hospitals, nursing homes and other community locations.

The wider Seva Sankalp Abhiyan includes programmes related to public participation, community service and social engagement. The campaign was launched from Vadnagar on September 17 by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, who also flagged off the Vadnagar-to-Varanasi bike rally.

The Vadnagar-to-Varanasi and Varanasi-to-Vadnagar journeys connect Vadnagar, associated with Prime Minister Modi's early life, with Varanasi, his Lok Sabha constituency. The motorcycle journeys are scheduled to continue until October 7, with participants travelling through multiple states and villages and conducting community activities along the routes.

The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is scheduled to continue through October 17, with various service and public-engagement activities planned across the country.
