Belagavi: Rotaract Club of Venugram – Belgaum Organises Baby Care Kit Donation Drive

Belagavi, July 27: The Rotaract Club of Venugram – Belgaum, under Rotary International District 3170, successfully conducted "Arogya Aarambh", a Baby Care Kit Donation Drive, as part of its Maternal and Child Health Initiative and District Month Observance.

The initiative aimed to support newborns and infants from underprivileged families by providing essential baby-care products and other items intended to support their well-being.

Each kit included baby-care products such as Dabur Janma Ghunti (125 ml), Woodward's Gripe Water (130 ml), Himalaya Baby Massage Oil (50 ml), and Sakasvi. The organisers advised that such products should be used appropriately and in accordance with relevant medical or product guidance, particularly for newborns and infants.

Speaking about the initiative, the organisers highlighted the importance of community participation in supporting maternal and child health. The drive also encouraged individuals to contribute to similar community initiatives aimed at assisting families in need.

The project was carried out under the leadership of President Rtn. Rtr. Harshit Deepak Kulkarni, Secretary Rtr. Rohit Mahesh Angolkar, and Event Chairperson Rtr. Darshan Doshi.

The programme reflected the Rotaract Club's continued commitment to community service and its efforts to support children and families through social initiatives.
