OnePlus has expanded its Nord smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite. The new devices target the mid-range smartphone segment and focus on features such as larger battery capacity, high-refresh-rate displays, and upgraded durability standards.
According to company announcements, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with support for up to a 144Hz refresh rate. The device is equipped with an 8,000mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging technology.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor and a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone includes a 7,000mAh battery along with support for 80W charging.
Both smartphones run on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. The company stated that the devices include several AI-based software features related to call clarity and photo editing tools.
In terms of camera specifications, the Nord CE 6 Lite includes a 50MP primary rear camera with optical image stabilization support. OnePlus has also highlighted improved durability features, stating that both models carry IP69-rated protection against dust and water exposure.
The company announced that the OnePlus Nord CE 6 will be available in multiple storage variants starting at ₹29,999, while the Nord CE 6 Lite starts at ₹20,999. Sales are expected to begin through online and offline retail platforms in the coming days.
Industry analysts note that smartphone brands are increasingly focusing on battery life, charging speed, and durability in the competitive Indian mid-range market. The launch of the Nord CE 6 series reflects the growing demand among consumers for devices offering long battery performance and enhanced display features at comparatively affordable pricing.
