Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Hyderabad on Sunday and inaugurated or laid foundation stones for multiple development projects related to infrastructure, highways, railways, petroleum, and healthcare during a public programme held at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad.
According to official statements, the projects are aimed at improving connectivity, infrastructure, and public services in Telangana. The programme was attended by BJP leaders, party workers, and members of the public from different parts of the state.
During his address, the Prime Minister spoke about infrastructure development, employment opportunities, digital growth, and women empowerment. He said Telangana has strong potential for industrial and economic development.
Officials stated that the projects include works related to highway upgrades, railway infrastructure, industrial development, and healthcare services. A healthcare facility focused on advanced cancer treatment was also inaugurated during the visit.
Security arrangements were tightened across Hyderabad and Secunderabad for the Prime Minister’s visit. Traffic restrictions were imposed in several areas to ensure smooth movement and crowd management.
