A new film project titled Saltanat has been announced, marking a collaborative effort between the Indian and Nepali film industries. The project is expected to bring together talent from both countries.

The film is being presented by Omar Productions and will be co-directed by Sapendra Dhital and Tabrez Alam. According to the production team, the film is based on a contemporary political storyline.

Actor Umar Khan will play the lead role, while Sapendra Dhital is set to appear in an antagonist role. The cast also includes actresses Sitoshna KC and Fiza Khan, along with other supporting actors.

Filming is planned across multiple locations, including Lucknow, Mumbai, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.

The production team states that the project aims to promote collaboration between the Indian and Nepali film industries and expand the reach of regional cinema to wider audiences.
