A bank robbery was reported during daytime hours in Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh, where a group of armed individuals allegedly entered a bank branch and carried out a theft during working hours.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred while customers and staff were present inside the bank. The assailants, reportedly armed, gained control of the premises, causing panic among those present. One round of firing was also allegedly reported during the incident, further intensifying fear inside the branch.

Initial estimates suggest that cash and gold ornaments worth several lakh rupees were taken from the bank. However, the exact amount is yet to be officially confirmed by authorities.

Following the incident, the accused fled the scene. Police teams were immediately deployed, and search operations were initiated in surrounding areas. Checkpoints were set up, and CCTV footage from the bank and nearby locations is being reviewed to trace the suspects.

In a development in the case, police have arrested one suspect allegedly linked to the robbery. Officials stated that interrogation is underway to gather further information about the remaining accused and possible associates involved in the incident.
