Young Prodigies Captivate Hearts with Melodious Voices and Graceful Performances

The cultural landscape of Asansol witnessed a magnificent celebration of youthful brilliance as SRAJAN THE SPARK – Asansol Chapter successfully hosted its much-awaited Talent Hunt 2026 – Solo Song and Solo Dance Competition. The event emerged as a splendid confluence of creativity, confidence and artistic excellence, providing a resplendent platform for budding talents to unveil their hidden potential.

Commencing at the early hour of 8:30 am and concluding at 3:30 pm, the grand event radiated an atmosphere of joy, enthusiasm and artistic fervour. More than 90 young participants from Nursery to Class V participated with immense zeal, transforming the stage into a vibrant canvas of music, rhythm and expression.

The little maestros mesmerised the audience with their enchanting voices and soulful renditions in the Solo Song competition. In Group A, Shreyashi Mondal clinched the first position, while Aishiki Mondal emerged victorious in Group B. The performers were also honoured with special accolades including Best Voice, Best Expression, Best Rhythm Sense, Judges’ Choice and Most Promising Singer, recognising their exceptional artistic qualities.

The Solo Dance segment unfolded as a spectacular display of elegance, energy and imagination. The young dancers enthralled the audience with their graceful movements, expressive choreography and captivating stage presence. Prodipti Ghosh, Dhritiman Layek, Abhistha Karmakar and Arna Mahato secured the top positions in Groups A, B, C and D respectively. Numerous participants were felicitated with special awards for their outstanding costume presentation, expressions, rhythm, choreography and promising performances.

The esteemed panel of judges applauded the dedication, confidence and artistic brilliance displayed by every participant. The competition was not merely a contest but a celebration of young dreams, where every performance echoed the spirit of determination and creativity.

Adding another dimension to this inspiring initiative, selected participants will undergo special training sessions conducted by the judges from the coming Saturday. These young performers will be groomed for a grand upcoming musical extravaganza, where they will get the rare opportunity to deliver live performances alongside songs originally rendered by senior artistes.
