Anantnag, Apr 29 – In an action against alleged drug trafficking, police in Anantnag, in coordination with the civil administration, carried out a demolition drive targeting properties linked to suspected drug peddlers along National Highway 44.
According to officials, the drive was part of an ongoing campaign against narcotics, focusing on assets believed to have been acquired through illegal activities related to drug trade.
Authorities stated that the structures were identified following due legal procedures and were demolished as part of efforts to disrupt financial networks associated with narcotics operations.
The joint operation involved both police and civil authorities, who indicated that such actions are intended to deter illegal activities and strengthen enforcement measures in the district.
