The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anantnag, Shri Amod Ashok Nagpure (IPS), chaired a high-level meeting at the District Police Office (DPO) Anantnag to review and finalize security arrangements for an आगामी धार्मिक यात्रा scheduled in 2026.

The meeting was attended by senior police officials, including the SP Headquarters Anantnag, ASP North (Camp Aishmuqam), and other concerned officers. Discussions focused on security deployment, traffic regulation, crowd management, and coordination with other departments to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.

During the meeting, SSP Nagpure emphasized the importance of maintaining robust security measures and effective inter-departmental coordination. He directed officers to remain vigilant, ensure proper personnel deployment, and strengthen communication systems to handle any potential contingencies.
