Champat Rai Reportedly Resigns as General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Amid Donation Prob

Ayodhya, June 26: A significant development has emerged amid the ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities in the handling of donations at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. According to multiple media reports, General Secretary Champat Rai has reportedly resigned from his post on moral grounds. Reports have also stated that trustee Anil Mishra has stepped down from his responsibilities. However, some organizations have said there is no official confirmation of these resignations.

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) is investigating allegations of irregularities in the counting and management of donations received at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. An FIR has been registered, and eight individuals have been arrested in connection with the case. Authorities are continuing their investigation.

Some media reports have claimed that financial discrepancies involving temple donations are under investigation. However, the exact amount involved has not been officially confirmed by the investigating agencies.

The Uttar Pradesh government has received a preliminary report from the SIT, and further investigation is underway. Officials have stated that appropriate action will be taken based on the findings of the probe.
