🚨 Hosur stir: DMK MLA arrested in extortion case!
Rs. 1.20 crore loan, Rs. 2.30 crore interest, and relentless threats; DMK State Deputy Secretary N.S. Matheswaran
Imprisoned; Son absconding!

The arrest of a prominent DMK figure who threatened a couple running a small factory in Hosur’s Sipcot area and engaged in anarchy by demanding extortion has caused a stir in Krishnagiri district.

📌 What happened? (Background of the incident):

Victims: Suresh Babu – Manasa couple from Hosur’s Chinna Elasigiri area (owners of GK Industrial).

Loan taken: They took a loan of Rs. 1 crore 20 lakhs from Hosur DMK MLA and Corporation Health Committee Chairman **N.S. Matheswaran** for their business.

* **Interest paid:** So far **Rs. 2 crore 30 lakh** have been paid in interest alone!

😠 Housebreaking and anarchy & intimidation:
Even after paying this much money, N.S. Matheswaran and his son Cheran entered the couple’s house on the 15th and demanded another Rs. 1 crore.

* They imprisoned the wife at home, took Suresh Babu to the bank and extorted **Rs. 21 lakh**.

* As if that was not enough, they kidnapped her to a private hotel and made her pay **Rs. 15 lakh** through a friend.

* They also extorted two more blank cheques.

👮 Action complaint and arrest:
The victim couple bravely filed a complaint with the Hosur Assistant Superintendent of Police. Based on the complaint, the Hosur Sibkat police registered a case under **5 sections including extortion and murder threat** and arrested DMK leader N.S. Matheswaran in a swift manner!

🏥 Sudden chest pain drama?
While being arrested and taken to judicial custody, Matheswaran was said to have suddenly **”chest pain”** and was shifted to Krishnagiri District Medical College Hospital for further treatment.
