Hyderabad witnessed a blend of style, motorcycling culture, and social awareness as The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) 2026 was organised on 17 May with participation from biking enthusiasts across the city and nearby regions.

The event, part of the global Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride initiative founded by Mark Hawwa, aims to raise awareness and support fundraising efforts for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research in partnership with the Movember Foundation.

According to organisers, more than 1,300 registered riders participated in the Hyderabad edition this year. Riders assembled at designated meetup points before proceeding through the city in coordinated groups.

Several local riding communities and motorcycle enthusiasts joined the event, showcasing a variety of motorcycles including Royal Enfield, Triumph, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Jawa, and custom café racer models. Participants were seen dressed in formal and vintage-inspired attire, following the traditional theme associated with the global DGR movement.

The ride covered multiple parts of the city including Secunderabad, Begumpet, and surrounding routes before concluding near Shamirpet. Marshals and organisers coordinated rider movement and safety throughout the event.

Participants described the ride as an opportunity to combine their passion for motorcycling with awareness for important health-related causes. Social media platforms also saw extensive engagement through photographs and videos shared during the event.

The Hyderabad edition highlighted the growing popularity of community-based riding events that promote both responsible motorcycling culture and social awareness initiatives.
