MOSCOW REPORTS MAJOR DRONE ATTACK; AUTHORITIES ASSESS DAMAGE

Moscow: Russian authorities reported a large-scale drone attack targeting areas around the Russian capital overnight, resulting in disruptions to transportation and damage assessments at several locations.

According to Russian officials, air defense systems intercepted multiple drones over different regions. Authorities also reported a fire at an oil refinery facility in Moscow’s Kapotnya district, while emergency services were deployed to affected areas.

Several Moscow airports temporarily suspended operations, leading to flight delays and cancellations. Road traffic was also affected in some areas as security and emergency measures were implemented.
