MS Dhoni has resumed training sessions with Chennai Super Kings, raising expectations about his possible return in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2026 season. However, there is still no official confirmation regarding his participation in the upcoming match against Mumbai Indians.

Chennai Super Kings are scheduled to face Mumbai Indians on Thursday at the Wankhede Stadium. The team has had a challenging start to the season, registering only two wins in six matches so far.

Recent practice session visuals showed Dhoni actively participating in wicketkeeping drills. He appeared engaged during training, interacting with teammates and continuing his preparation ahead of the crucial fixture.
