PEO Files Complaint at Mangalpur PS Against BJP Krushak Morcha General Secretary Over Alleged Obstruction During Flood Relief Work

Kayan, Dasarathpur, Jajpur, 22 August 2026: A written complaint has been lodged at Mangalpur Police Station by the Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) of Kayan Gram Panchayat against the Jajpur District BJP Krushak Morcha General Secretary in connection with an alleged incident during flood relief distribution work.

According to the complaint, the PEO alleged that he was attacked and obstructed by the BJP leader while carrying out flood relief distribution work in Kayan Panchayat under Dasarathpur block.

Reacting to the allegation, the Jajpur BJP Krushak Morcha General Secretary denied the charge of attack and said that he was only raising what he described as genuine grievances of flood-affected people.

He further alleged that there were irregularities in the distribution of relief materials in Kayan Panchayat and other flood-affected areas of Jajpur. According to him, relief materials were not reaching all affected families, causing concern among people who have been facing difficulties related to food, drinking water and shelter.

The BJP leader demanded an impartial inquiry into the relief distribution process and urged the administration to ensure that relief materials reach all eligible affected families.

Meanwhile, Mangalpur Police has received the written complaint, and the matter is currently under enquiry.
