This is the condition of major access road to Ambal Nagar and Gandhi Nagar in West Tambaram near RTO Office. With 500 plus residences, school going childrens are left with no other option than walking in the stagnant water. Two wheeler riders risk their life to pass this stretch. Even four wheelers find it difficult to pass through without damaging their running boards. This stretch of road becomes a line of small ponds even for a brief period of light rain. Residents in this are facing so many issues due to the road condition. Residents are expecting some miracle to happen and they can ride safely in this road. There is no measures taken by Tambaram Corporation till now to repair this road and make it safe for commuters. Tambaram Corporation Commisioner and officials should take immediate steps to ensure safety of the commuters. Officials should take swift action before any major incident.
