Special Rituals Held on Dashami at Sri Surya Narayana Swamy Temple
Jagtial, April 26: On the auspicious occasion of Dashami in the Shukla Paksha of Vaishakha month, special religious ceremonies were conducted at the Sri Surya Dhanvantari Temple with great devotion. The rituals were dedicated to Lord Surya Narayana Swamy, along with Usha and Chaya.
The कार्यक्रम included a sacred Panchamrita Abhishekam, performed with devotion by priests and devotees. A special Pallaki Seva (procession) was also organized, drawing participation from a large number of भक्तs. Following the rituals, free distribution of Amruta Nirgundi Kashayam was carried out for devotees.
Temple authorities highlighted that Sunday is traditionally considered a sacred day for worshipping Lord Surya. Devotees believe that offering prayers on this day brings good health, longevity, success, prosperity, and recognition.
Several dignitaries and temple committee members attended the event, including Founder and Chairman Dr. Vadlagatta Rajanna, Working President Vodnala Srinivas, Trustee Gattu Rajender, and others. Priests led the rituals in a spiritual atmosphere.
Devotees also offered Mudupu (sacred offerings) to seek divine blessings.
