Former Governor Vidyasagar Rao Stresses Skill Development for Youth; MLA Sanjay Kumar Encourages Self-Employment
A skill development and certificate distribution program for unemployed youth was held at the Chinna Jeeyar Swamy Trust building in Raikal town, jointly organized by GMR Varalakshmi Foundation and Pratima Foundation. Program Officer M. Mahesh said that over the past ten years around 2,100 unemployed youth were given free training in courses such as Assistant Electrician, Home Aid Health, Tailoring and Two-Wheeler Mechanic, of which about 1,500 have secured employment.
Former Maharashtra Governor C. Vidyasagar Rao said that India’s youth have the potential to begin as technicians and grow into scientists. He emphasized that skill development and hard work can transform India into a global leader again.
MLA Dr. Sanjay Kumar advised youth to stay away from harmful habits and utilize skill training to build a stable livelihood. He also assured support for infrastructure at the training center and encouraged youth to pursue self-employment opportunities.
