The United Diplomatic Council hosted the launch of the book India–Latin America: The Unexplored Partnership, highlighting the evolving relationship between India and Latin American countries.
The publication, authored and edited by Huma Siddiqui and Aparaajita Pandey, focuses on opportunities for expanding cooperation across sectors such as trade, energy, agriculture, technology, and investment.
The event was attended by members of the diplomatic community, including representatives from countries such as Paraguay, Cuba, Argentina, Chile, and Colombia, among others. Participants discussed the importance of strengthening economic dialogue and institutional engagement between the regions.
Representatives from organizations such as the SCO Trade Council and the India EU Trade Council also attended, reflecting growing interest in linking diplomatic outreach with business and economic cooperation.
According to participants, the discussions emphasized the need for sustained engagement, policy coordination, and private sector participation to expand India–Latin America ties.
The event highlighted increasing attention toward building stronger connections between India and Latin America, particularly in areas of trade and investment, with stakeholders expressing interest in further collaboration.
