A customer from Hyderabad has reportedly raised a complaint regarding a cancelled food order placed through Swiggy from Nidhi Ki Rasoi Se.
According to the complaint, the customer had ordered three aloo parathas with dahi and chutney for ₹61 through the food delivery application. The payment was made online successfully.
The customer stated that the order was cancelled shortly after placement due to personal reasons. However, the refund amount was allegedly not credited after the cancellation.
As per the complaint, the customer contacted Swiggy customer support and was informed that the matter would need to be addressed with the restaurant partner. The customer further claimed to have contacted the restaurant management through phone calls and WhatsApp messages while sharing the order details and payment receipt.
The complainant alleged that no satisfactory resolution or refund had been provided at the time of filing the grievance.
The complaint calls for:
- Refund of the cancelled order amount.
- Clarification regarding the refund policy applicable to such cancellations.
- Improved customer grievance handling mechanisms to avoid similar disputes in future.
No official response from either Swiggy or the restaurant management was available at the time of reporting.
